TPRP (Tlingit Park Recreation Project)

In May, 2003, hundreds of volunteers built the Tlingit Park Playground in old-fashioned barn-raising style. In just 5 days, we went from bare ground to a finished play structure. TPRP was a cooperative community park improvement project sponsored by the Haines Woman's Club and Haines Borough spearheaded by a Haines Womens Club committee of young mothers (see Leathers and Associates for more information about the playground.)

Thank you, Haines for your incredible support!
