"We live in the world of digital libraries. Print is fast becoming a memory. Despite this progression, the need for the library is more important today than in the past. Digitized information provides users faster, easier and more useful data than ever before."

The Best Library I've Ever Visited
Having spent decades in and around libraries in many states, I can say that the Haines Borough Public Library is the Best public library ANYWHERE. The beautiful building is conveniently located for patrons, with ample parking. There are many quirt places to enjoy a book or magazine, or to catch up on your email. The library offers numerous programs for kids, and it enjoys the support of its community. This is well worth a visit if you are going to be in Haines at any time. Lewiston, California
