In May, hundreds of volunteers built the Tlingit Park Playground in old-fashioned barn-raising style. In just 5 days, we went from bare ground to a finished play structure. What is TPRP?TPRP is a cooperative community park improvement project sponsored by the Haines Woman's Club and Haines Borough. In addition to a custom community-built play structure, TPRP and the Haines borough will install new lighting, bathrooms, picnic tables & benches, signage, landscaping, and pathways, with ADA accessibility throughout.
