Mobile mammograms in Haines on Aug. 28 to Sept. 10
The mobile mammogram van will visit Haines starting on Thursday, Aug. 28, with appointments running through the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 10 (no weekend appointments). Women wanting to schedule a mammogram should call Pam Sloper of the SEARHC Haines Health Center at 766-6367.
Farmers Market - August 30
Sixth farmers market at the fair grounds- fish, produce, veges, food, local entertainment, crafts, art. 10 - 1 pm
AARP Consumer Protection/Financial Education Workshops - Sept 12-13
Residents (of all ages) are welcome to attend one or both workshops. Both workshops will be held in the Assembly Chambers at NO CHARGE. If you are among the first 60 people to enroll, Consumer Credit Counseling Services will obtain your CREDIT SCORE and interpret your CREDIT REPORT in a private session at NO CHARGE.
