There are 11 churches in the community of Haines. Ten are denominational and one is non-denominational.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints -- Near Fort Seward, on Mud Bay Road at its intersection with Small Tracts Road. Box 622, 766-2379

Haines Baptist Church -- Haines Baptist Church meets at the Senior Center at 1st and Mission, next to Tlingit Park. We meet Sunday Morning at 10:30am for Adult services and Children's Sunday school for ages 4 - 12. We also meet Sunday evening at 7:00 pm. We have King's Club for the children ages 4 - 12 on Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30. With an adult Bible Study and Prayer service at 7:00. If they need a ride we do have Bus transportation.
